Does it conflict with EssentialsX homes?

Run one homes system, not both. Disable Essentials' /home, /sethome and /delhome via its command overrides, or remove those aliases so DexHomes takes them.

Can players keep homes across worlds?

Yes — homes store the world name. If a world is removed, its homes are flagged as unavailable in the GUI instead of being deleted.

How do I give VIP players more homes?

Grant the tier node, e.g. /lp group vip permission set dexhomes.limit.vip true. If a player has multiple tiers, the highest limit wins.

Can combat tagging come from another plugin?

DexHomes has its own tag system, and it can also defer to an external combat plugin if one is detected — set combat.enabled: false to hand control over.
