Which versions does it run on?

One jar for Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia, from 1.19 up to 26.2+. Newer features are reached through reflection, so there's no version-specific NMS layer to break.

Do I need an economy plugin?

Yes — Vault plus any Vault-compatible economy. Money is taken when a bounty is placed and paid to the killer on the kill.

Can players pick their own menu colour?

No — it's one server-wide accent colour set with gui.colour. That keeps the menu consistent for everyone.

Friends keep farming bounties on each other

Turn on stat-blocking (block targets with a low K/D or too many deaths) and set limits.cooldown-seconds / max-per-day.

What happens to the money when a bounty is removed or expires?

Contributors are refunded — controlled by refund-on-remove and expiry.refund.

The search opens a sign instead of a dialog

Dialogs need Paper 1.21.7+ and a 1.21.6+ client. Bedrock and older clients get a sign; servers below 1.20 fall back to chat. The console tells you why on startup.

Can bounties be shared across a network?

Yes — set storage.type: mysql on every server. They all see and can claim the same bounties.
