Every home is customisable

Right-click any home to open the editor. Players get five things to play with, and none of it costs you a config line:

IconAny item in the game. A searchable, sortable, category-filtered item picker is built in — type a name on a sign and it finds it.

NameRenamed on a sign, length-capped and pattern-validated. Optional small-caps enforcement if you want a consistent server look.

Colour16 solid colours (dyes) and 16 multi-stop gradients (candles) — Fire, Ocean, Galaxy, Rainbow and more. Live preview in the menu.

Teleport effect12 particle effects with real shapes — spiral, helix, vortex, halo, aura, beam, ring, burst. Animates while warping, bursts on arrival.

Arrival sound11 sounds, previewed instantly on click. Ender, Beacon, Amethyst, Conduit, Portal — or Silent.

Built for real servers

Rank-gated slotsDefine tiers in the config; permissions are generated at runtime. A player gets the highest value of every tier they hold — no stacking bugs.

Combat-aware15 second combat tag by default, plus a teleport warmup that cancels on move or damage. Homes aren't a PvP escape.

Self-paging GUIThe menu pages itself off the player's slot count. 14 homes → one page, no next button. 28 → two pages, title becomes "Homes 1/2". Nothing to configure.

Admin browsingOpen any player's homes with the menu title marked so you always know whose you're looking at.

Version-tolerant particlesParticle names are alias-resolved — modern and pre-1.20.5 names both work. A name that doesn't exist on your version drops that layer and logs it. Never a crash.

Config self-protectionAn outdated config.yml is spotted and backed up automatically on update — and your license key is carried across for you.

Installation

Drop DexHomes.jar into plugins and restart.
Enter your license key under license.key in config.yml.
Set your slot tiers under limits: — the permissions generate themselves.
Grant them: /lp group vip permission set dexhomes.limit.vip true
Run /home and you're live.
