How is DexOrders different from DexAuction?
Both are buy-order systems by Dexter Studio. DexOrders is the newer, standalone release — native Dialog input by default, real item-picker sprites, five Donut rank tiers and per-player GUI colours. Pick the one that fits your server; they're sold separately.
How is this different from an auction house?
An auction house lists items for sale. DexOrders lists buy orders — a player says "I want to buy X at this price," escrows the money, and anyone with the item fills it.
Does it work on Folia?
Yes — built for Folia's threaded regions.
Dialog or sign input?
dialog is the default and needs Paper 1.21.7+. It falls back to a sign automatically on older versions, so it's safe to leave on.
The item-picker buttons show no icons
Icons need a 1.21.9+ client. If your players are on older versions set item-picker.icons: false for name-only buttons.
Can someone scam a buyer or seller?
No. Money is escrowed on placement; items and money change hands atomically on a fill. Cancel or expire and everything is refunded.
What if my inventory is full when an order fills?
Items go to your collection box, or drop safely at your feet — never lost.
Can players choose their own menu colour?
Yes, if gui.allow-player-choice is true — grant dexorders.guicolor.<name>. Set it false to force one colour server-wide.
